On 10/06/2006, Special Agent (sA)
Capital Police, contacted FBI Los Angeles re
threatening messages left on an answering machine in
Representative Elton Gallegly's Thousand Oaks, CA office..
On 09/29/2006, a threatening message was left on the.
answering machine in Representative Elton Gallegly's Thousand
Oaks, CA office. The message was left on the answering machine
at approximately 4:30am by a seemingly intoxicated male that
stated "he was going to kill the President." Unfortunately, the
message was erased and a copy was not obtained.
At approximately 4:30am on 10/06/2006, a message was
left on the same answering machine, apparently by the same
intoxicated individual, who stated "I'm going to come and kill
you Elton." The individual also made homophobic statements to
the effect that Congressman Gallegly "liked gays."
Pursuant to Grand Jury subpoena,
were obtained and analyzed re the two
threatening phone calls..
