To: San Francisco From: San Francisco Re: 89A-SF-137188, 12/02/2004 criminal history for drug usage but does not have prior convictions involving violence. The father stated he was arrested last month for causing a disturbance in the street and was held for a number of days. The Subject is not on any know medication but according to his father his mental condition seems. to have worsened in the past couple of months. The Subject has a suspended drivers license and there are no vehicles to his disposal. His father stated he used to. have a lot of friends but over time he has alienated them all. The father does not have long distant service at the house. because his son has made other bizarre calls in the past. The. father is retired and stays at home most of the time but was away. earlier today. The Subject does not have access to the Internet and it is not believed he has the mental capacity to make a bomb. His ability to travel is limited to riding the bus. On this same date, at 6:oopM, NDc Duty AUsA was contacted and advised of the situation. She concurred thought that the Subject might need a mental evaluation. The local authorities were notified and the Subject was detained for a 72 hour psychiatric evaluation. Both threatened offices were contacted and they received identifying information on the Subject for future reference. An "Urgent Report" was generated on this threat situation and forwarded to FBihg on the same evening of the. incident. A copy of the Campbell Police Department Police Report, b6 case number 2004-4884, documenting the arrest of will be. b7C attached hereto for further reference.. As this matter will not be prosecuted, the Subject. identifying information will be entered into Acs and it is. recommended that this matter be closed on this same communication.
