Reference: 89A-LV-36769 Serial 1 Details: SA benerated a lead to the Las Vegas Division for an interview of. the person believed to be the subject at the onset of the investigation. SA received the lead and began his investigation. He discovered the actual subject who made the threatening phone call was who is more fully described below. Pursuant to his interview of SA opened his own investigation and contacted the United States Attorney's Office (usao) in Las Vegas. Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) ]of the District of Nevada, agreed to. prosecute in Las Vegas for the threatening message. AUSA from the Usao in Washington, D.C., agreed that prosecution of would not be sought in Washington, D.c. as. a result of his prosecution in Las Vegas. For the reasons detailed above, the writer recommends closing the Washington Field Office investigation.
