Subparagraphs “a and "b" under the heading "Additional Functions of the Operations Cocrdinating Board" on page 1 of the President's memo~ randun for the Executive Secretery, Naticnal Security Council supple- menting fxecutive order 10483 are superseded by the following pro~ vigions: a. ‘The members of the Operations Coordinatins Bourd shall, under appropriate secur’ ty arrangements, be advised cof those covert operations related to National Security Council policies assigned to the Board for coordination or related to such other functions as may be asai gned tc tre Board. b. The designated representatives of the Secretaries of State and Defense referred to in puragraph 4.a. above shall keep the Bourd Kembere of their respective departuents advised as to matters on which they are consulted by the tlrector of Central Intelligence, and which have teen or are tu be referred te the Operations Coordinsting Boeri. ce. fhe Uperations Coordinating: Board will be the normal channel for securing covrdination cf support amcng the Depart- ments cf State and Defense and the Central Intellizenee Agency.
