second trial on tax charges to Camden, New Jersey. In
May of 1955 Anastasia entered & guilty plea to two counts
of income tax evasion and in June of 1955 was sentenced to
one year in prison. It was rumored that Anastasia hed been
instructed to plead guilty by other hoodlums who feared an
investigation into the garment industry and more adverse
