STRIKING DELANO CALIFOBNIA, MIGRANT GRAPE PIC) ll on May 23, 1966, advised that e oycott against DiGiorgio Corporation products at the 8 & W Food Company Warehouse, Chicago, began at 7:00 AM on May 23, 1966, and ended at 4:00 PM, that date when the warehouse closed for the evening. The peak of the demonstration was shortly befora 9:00 AM when an estimated 60 pickets were participating. . Most of the pickets left before 9:00 AM and a skeleton force ranging from four to six pickets remained until the warehouse closed for the evening, at which time the remaining pickets disbursed.
