_ —~!, a ‘ ~ 6 LA 7-1627 dep 7 KAY a : § During this brief period SUTTER was able to Jocmve a two or three story building at a distance of approximately 100 feet. The building, believed to be at least 15 years old, was possibly an epartment house, It had a stucco finish, beige, yellow, or light brown in color, On the wall faeing SUTTER was a stucco finished protrusion extending diagonally from the lower left side to the upper right side. SUTTER was of the opinion that the "add-on" feature wes possibly a stairway. SUTTER further recalled that the car was parkec on an older asphalt surface with at least four perking stripes painted parallel to the back of the building. The stripes, which appeared to be Gesignated parking slots, had not been painted for three or four years, SUPTER could not recall seeing any other cars, buildings, trees, or people in the area, SUTTER did not know if EMILY HARRIS had gone into the building he observed and could not be certain that the girl who returned was the same individual, although he be- lieved she was. He emphasized that he kept his head down as he had been instructed and was only able to see the female's legs and feet, SUPPER recalled that when the girl saw that his head was uncovered she immediately reached down and replaced the blanket. After making the apartment house stop, the group proceeded to what appeared to be a freeway. After driving for an unkriovin period of time along an unknown route, the car was stopped end EMILY JIARRIS indicated she ves going to "go get another car", SUTTER explained that prior to that time WILLIAM HARRIS had made severel comments that they had to find another car, He made no reference to a specific make or model, After EMILY HARRIS had been gone for ten to fifteen minutes, she returned, saying only that she was unsuccessful, SUTTER related that when he was abducted he hed the car radio set on KFAC, @ semi-classical station. The proup cept the radio tuned to this station the entire day and occasionally SUTTER was able to detect an announcement of the time. Jie admitted, however, that he was so scared that he fasled to relate any particular happening with specific times angi that his attenots to estimate times were at best qualified fuesses, ; Mgt yh at oe nC ae ie a a oe ar ‘347 Res Se sae, ee Te oO ee ee
