Mr. Heim to McDermott Memorandum RE: BERT RANDOLPH SUGAR EDITOR-IN-CHIEF "ARGOSY” MAGAZINE PROPOSED ARTICLE CONCERNING HEARNAP CASE time, he would like to meet briefly with Mr. Kelley 50 tha he may personally note Mr. Kelley's comments concerning the Hearnap investigation. If possible, at the same time he would like to be photographed with Mr. Kelley. Mr. Sugar has in- dicated that if convenient, he will be available to come to Washington anytime during the period October 4-11, 1974. RECOMMENDATIONS : (1) That approval be given to cooperate with "Argosy" magazine in the publication of an article pertaining to the Hearnap fugitives. (2). That Mr. Kelley indicate if he would be willing to meet with Mr. Sugar sometime during the period 10/4-11/74 to briefly discuss the Hearnap case and to be photographed with Mr. Sugar. (3} That this memorandum be returned to the Research Section, External Affairs Division, for further handling. a
