SOBLE related that on his first meeting with JANE FOSTER ZLATOVSKI at the STERN home in NYC, JANE told MARTHA and ALFRED in the presence of GEORGE ZLATOVSKI that she wanted to divorce GEORGE and marry CHARLES FLATO. SOBLE stated that both MARTHA and ALFRED stated at that time that they knew FLATO. SODLE related that the STERNS were not in favor of JANE getting a divorce. SOBLE stated that JANE told him that she was in love with FLATO and had lived with.:hnim in Washington on occasions. SOBLE stated it was his opinion that JANE became acquainted with FLATO "in the work", SOBLE related that the STERNS also knew FLATO from "the work", SOBLE stated that JANE told him that FLATO was a Communist. SOBLE further related that he thinks that FLATO supplied information to JANE and JANE gave this information to MARTHA STERN. SOBLE stated he thought this because of something that JANE must have said to him but that he cannot recall now exactly what these statements were.
