stated that about fifteen minutes after every hour while she remained at the
station the Chevrolet oar returned to the Plaza and circled same, and the
two men in the Chevrolet exchanged short recognition with two men in the Reo.
Mre. Turner stated that she got a very good look at two of the men in the Reo
and identified them ae Harvey Bailey and Wilber Underhill, heretofore mentionsd.
She stated that Bailey got out of the Reo car and walked over to the depot

Ariansas, that long distance telephone calls wore mde at significant hours
from that point to Little Rock, Arkansas, Chicago, Illinois, and Joplin, —
Missouri. It was learneé at Joplin, Missouri, through the Telephone Company, |
that Herbert allen Parmer, to whose telephone calls had come from Hot Springs,
operated a rendevouz of gangetera near that point. Long distance calls from |
the phone of Farmer were traced to Vernon C. Miller at Kansas City, Missouri,
Information later developed, through investigation, attached definite moaning
to these calle as a part of the conspiracy which culminated in the instant
