Mrse Bobbie Moore, alias Mrae Bobbie Williams, alias Mrs. Bobbie Garries
Arrested at Chicago, Jllinois, by Division agente and local officers on -
November 1, 1933, after she had driven Miller in her automobile and sided
da effecting hia escapes She was incicted at Chicago, Illinois, on
November 6, 1933, for having barbored and concealed Millere On November £9,
i933, she entered a plea of guilty and received a sentence of one yeer and
j one day in the Federal Friason for Women, Alderam, West Virginias
Altert Silvers, alias Silvermans & Commissioner's warrant was issued at
New York City, New York, on November 6, 1935, charging Silvers with having
concealed and harbored Vernon C. Miller, it having been discovered that he.
had purchased a Ford automobile for Miller in New York shortly before the
latter was located in Chicago on November 1, 1933. Silvera’ corpse wes
found near Somers, Connesticut, on November 20, 1953, entirely nude, badly
mitilated, stebbed and throm there after death, He apparently met death
at the hands of other gangsterse The circumstances surrounding his mrder
and the condition of his body bore a remarkable similarity to those
surrounding the death of Millers
Dre Irwin Re gilverae arrested by Division agents and members of the United
States Marshal's office at Orange, New Jersey, on November 15, 1933, on a
Comniasioner*s warrant charging him with having conesaled and harbored
Vernon C. Miller. He wee found to have procured false credentials and
optical supplies which Miller used as a ruse to avoid capturee Silvers has
been released on a bond of $10,000.00. The files of the Kansas City office
‘do not reflect further prosecutive action. ,
‘ Abrahar(chaite’ arrested by agents of this Division and members of the United
States Marshal's office at New York City, New York, on a Commissioner's
Warrant on November 6, 1933. Chait was charged with concealing and harboring
Miller. Investigition revealed that Chait prompted... Herman Borenstein, who
procured en automobile operator's license for Vernon C. Miller at New York
City shortly before Miller was located at Chicago, Illinois, on November 1,
-1933. Chait was released on $10,000.00 bond. Records of the Kansas City
office do not reflect additional information from the New York City office
regarding the prosecution of Chaite
Horman‘borensteine The facte with regard to Borenstein are identical with
those of Chait as set forth above with the exception of the fact that
Borenstein is of similar description to Vernon C. Miller and, accordingly,
was the peraon who personally secured for Miller an operatar's licenses 7
